I had no idea drinking more water could ease back and joint pain. I have a bad back and my knees sometimes give me trouble. Water is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI have a hard time drinking just plain water, so I usually infuse it with something yummy. I'll add half a lemon, some cucumber slices, and a few mint leaves to my enormous water bottle and then it is easy to drink lots! Lemon water is also really good for you.
The most refreshing water I've ever had came from the lobby of a hotel we once stayed at. :) At the front desk, they kept a pitcher of ice water with lemon & orange slices, and that was seriously the-most-invigorating-water! We drank a cup of it each morning as we left to go explore the city on foot. With my first sip I could feel the bags under my eyes deflating. I actually rolled out of bed one of those mornings and said (in the groggiest of morning voices), "I need my morning citrus water." We must tell coffee drinkers everywhere! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks, Jess, for these motivating statistics! I am prone to knock-me-out migraines and dehydration is one of my triggers. I had no idea how many other things water consumption can effect!
